Paper CD Cases

The simplest and the least expensive CD cases are paper CD cases. A little more expensive versions add a transparent window to the case that keeps the label visible. Spunbonded polyethylene (Tyvek) is the material used in making them, it being more durable and less abrasive than paper. These cases are not used for commercial releases limiting their use to promotional and demo discs only, like in software packages, where the box is labelled promotionally, but the disc comes in a paper sleeve in order to economize.
